5 ways to create calm and serene home

We often hear how connecting with nature and spending time outdoors reduces stress and anxiety. How spending time among trees help improve healthy. However what do you do if you are unable to spend outdoor time everyday or often enough. Here I will share 5 simple tips to rip the benefits of outdoors by bringing them indoor.

Fill Your House with Plants:

Plant breath carbon dioxide and other toxins while releasing oxygen for us to breath. There are some simple to grow plants that can survive indoors easily and provide us tons of greenery and creates serene environment.

Plants like Pothos, Peace lily, Chinese evergreen , Snake Plant are so easy to grow and can make every corner of the house peaceful.

Use Essential Oil Diffuser:

When you are outdoors essential oils from plants and trees have the stress reducing effect on you. They also help improving sleep , increasing blood circulation and balancing heart beats. You can get benefits of essential oil by using essential oil diffusers.

Use conifer oils like pine, cedarwood, Cyprus, Eucalyptus for nice earthy feel.

Use Essential Reed Diffuser:

Similar to diffuser, you can also use reed diffusers. Good part of reed diffuser over regular diffusers is that they can be used even in bathrooms.

Candles:

You can fill your home with nice warmth with pure Japanese candles that generates very low smoke and burns really bright due to how they are made. Avoid petroleum wax candles. Candles with fragrance to native wild flowers can be really refreshing.

Incense:

Burning incense has many benefits on top of creating calmness. It refreshes mind and body, removes impurities and also transcends you to high dimensions of consciousness.
